In addition to this tour being a gardeners delight, this tour also looks at the interiors of two privately owned manor houses which both date from the 16th century and an 11th century castle set high on a hill with commanding views across the River Arun and out to sea. Highlights include:
- The tulip display in the Collector Earls garden at Arundel Castle, the ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk
- The award winning gardens at privately owned Pashley Manor and Borde Hill
- A leisurely visit to Wisley, the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society
- A pub lunch in an ancient country inn
- 3 nights in the English countryside and 3 more in London
