In 18th century England, John Wesley travelled thousands of miles preaching and bringing new hope to the poor of the emerging industrial nation. He visited Cornwall on many occasions and several important locations come together as a tour that he would recognise. Highlights include:
- A Birthplace of America tour of Bristol
- A 2-day tour of Devon and Cornwall following a similar route taken by John Wesley
- The Platt at Port Isaac where he preached
- Gwennap Pit where John preached eighteen times between 1762 and 1789 and still in use today
- Digory Isbell’s Cottage at Trewint
- The 1620 embarkation point for the Pilgrim Fathers in Plymouth
