The Jane Austen Festival makes its annual return to the city of Bath in September, attracting fans from around the world to celebrate her writing, her life in Bath and all things Regency with the Grand Regency Promenade, a spectacular costumed walk through the centre of Bath being one of the major highlights. Others include:
- Visits to Steventon where she grew up and her home at Chawton where she wrote or revised her famous novels
- Her burial place and Choral Evensong in Winchester Cathedral
- Salisbury Cathedral and awe-inspiring Stonehenge
- The first weekend of the Jane Austen Festival
- The Regency Costumed Promenade (costume hire available)
- Time to enjoy Bath’s many attractions and it’s superb shopping
- An optional self-indulgent couple of hours at the Thermae Bath Spa
- A final 2 nights in London
